ISS Space Launch
Today our KS2 pupils had the opportunity to watch Britain's first European Space Agency astronaut, Tim Peake blast off into space!!
The Soyuz rocket, which weighs 310 tonne, launched into the sky over the Kazakh steppe in Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. at 11.03am GMT on a six-hour trip to deliver Maj Peake and his two crewmates to the orbiting ISS station.
